Many thanks to the many fair folks that inquired about joining our ranks this season as a Nottingham Player, and to those that are interested in the fall and next season as well.

All roles have been filled with the exception of one Gypsy Role (contact me if interested)

Ho! What merry mayhem shall ensue!

Tis a new season upon us... and the Ye Olde Nottingham Players are recasting some roles and adding yet more character roles! By God's teeth... The world be not ready for this mayhem!

For those of you who haven't been caught in a net and forced to watch us-- our unique public punishment act and characters are very three dimensional and engaging. A good comic wit and physical comedy, some drama, fun nature, improv, some singing helpful... but far more important is the professional attitude, the spirit and the drive to make your character "alive".

Amenities are wonderful, food and travel paid, great camp, pay varies faire to faire each season. And did I mention- hot showers??!! (who you take them with is up to ye)

This also includes many street bits away from ye stocks/pillory, abusing great props, songs o' plenty, mood music, chasing, slapstick, drama, ungrateful fish, royal goats, cranky owls, stolen chickens, lots of panic coupled with good old fashioned punishment - ah, yes.... all the merry things your Mother told you to avoid in life.

Medieval spirit, easy going nature, willingness, and the ability to fit into a family (no, not the Waltons!) or close knit troupe is highly valued!

Write. Call. A note in a bottle. But sit there NOT reading on and on!
